Running before VAR comes in and the gossip hounds start reviewing old decisions.Suspicious isn't it ?
Those rumours about him. Kenn'el.
My thoughts were that something has been passed on that mean his personal circumstances have "changed" (suddenly).Running before VAR comes in and the gossip hounds start reviewing old decisions.
Yeah, he's been acting the **** for years and the PL don't want too big a drop between pre and post VAR.My thoughts were that something has been passed on that mean his personal circumstances have "changed" (suddenly).
He's not the first referee to suddenly give up, since there is no VAR this season, there's no reason right now to quit, I'm thinking more that someone has proven some wrong doing, and he's had no choice. If rumours are true, we have some form with this sort of thing, and he's f**ked us over a couple of times.Yeah, he's been acting the **** for years and the PL don't want too big a drop between pre and post VAR.
Then somebody has gone to the effort of making a dossier on him. Good riddance. He's not the first referee to suddenly give up, since there is no VAR this season, there's no reason right now to quit, I'm thinking more that someone has proven some wrong doing, and he's had no choice. I doubt at 32, as a referee, he's earned enough to retire early.
Only the ones that do what Riley tells them to.This is why giving the Championship playoffs to Premier League referees is stupid, to put it mildly. I assume with the amount of PL refs to quit that the Championship ones are to bridge the gap now?
LasikTelegraph says he's quit due to personal circumstance.
Twitter believes there's a video him doing a Roy Keane on his dog.
The internet is a strange place.
However, last season Madley was awful - he was barely getting any matches by the end of the season. I suspect something happened that caused his judgement and performance level to drop off a cliff.
I really don't understand why they left that bit in about a social media video rumour. The 32-year-old was on the Fifa list and one of those whom the Premier League had hoped would become one of Europe’s leading referees and the circumstances around his departure are still unclear. It is understood that it could be linked to a video on social media although that could not be confirmed.Interesting. I suspect this might not be the end of the story.
