I would like to say a big thank you to Bobby Manc for getting us up to challenging for top 4 this season.

Just imagine if he had been with us all season we would be in the top 3 I feel without all those draws.

We need to keep him for some stability...

Forza Mancini

What do you guys think?

Never hear the fans chanting his name do we!!!

Give us a wave or Mancini Na Na Na

Guess that answers your question!

Fans all hoping for Mourinhio I think!!

Personally would like Mancini to make it work as I think if given the chance he would be here for the long haul!!

I think the writing is on the wall already unfortunately but he's done a very good job.

I couldn't agree more that we need to keep Roberto.

It is absolutely pointless chopping and changingthe manager every whip and flip; there is no continuity in that case.

He seems to be getting things right more and more and if we hadn't had a bent ref on Saturday, I'm sure we would have won.

I hope your wrong CTID as he deserves a good chance to do it his way for a full season... brink of Champs League now and almost certainly guaranteed European football next year

I hope this is wrote with an ironic twist to it, if not your dead from the neck up.

Need to get behind Bobby - he will get it right. Too many people over-reacting after getting beat in the last seconds by the rags. Yes it hurt but they weren't any better than us and even a few rags I know said they thought a draw would have been a fair result.

My worry is Roberto will walk away end of season, its a poision chalice of a job as it stands.

The squad, despite costing £300 million or more is poor, average players, carring long term injuries, or near the end of a top class carear.............the truth is numpty pissed the money away, with the exception of Tevez and Adie.........and Bellamy bearing in mind his knee problems,

There will be presure from the off next year.........and we have no team, and no backbone in place to build one onto.

We could come up with a decent goalie if we recall Hart, have we a rock to build a defence round?........Lescotte?, dont think so.

Where is the midfield leader, the playmaker?.........we may luck out IF Michael Johnson gets fit, thats the box to box engine room sorted, Barry might scrape bye as the holding player.............still no creative* playmaker.

Up front we have more than enought firepower, Johnson looks to be a great prospect, Adie and Tevez go well, Bellamy a real handfull when fit..............Crocky santa clause and SWP wont be missed and their replacments can hardly do a worse job.

So would you chance your reputation on being able to buy the players you NEED, and for them to hit the ground running from the off, with the world media waiting with the knives out ready?

*Creative does not mean Stevie Ireland, though he could be called creative at times, he could best be descibed as a f*cking liabillity for most games where he interprates " When we dont have the ball mark your player" into " You just have a bit of a jog stevie, just point at who your suposed to mark if you feel you must do something"

I just write what I feel mate. No irony in the statement

He's done well so far all things considering. I wouldn't go as far to say we would be in the top 3 if he'd been there at the start. He may have beaten Burnley, but failed to win at Blackburn, or beaten Hull, and lost to Arsenal. Some aspects of him make me think of Benitez though.

I think the irony he is referring to is in his suggestion that someone else may be dead from the neck up when he doesn't even know the difference between "your" and "you're" or "wrote" and "written." Could be wrong though. You're spot on about Mancini in my opinion, Dan.

Tin hat on here pal, Didsbury Dave and his Stevie Ireland bumming mates will not be impressed

bobby has done grate,
if hughes was stilll the coach we would be in at about 7th or 8th.

just coz we lost against the scums people are caling for his head,

last week against the brum and burnley people were singing his praises,
we still gonna get 4th and even if we dont

next window when he brings in his players i think we can go for third,

some fuchen consistancy is what this club needs and there is no one out there better than the bobby manc except maybe for jose

All I can say is...

SHAME on you Manchester City Football Club if you axe Mancini.

Look at his points average since he joined us and we are basically a top four side who would be challenging for the league if it sustained into next season.

Time has shown that Mancini is getting more and more to grips with English football and he has yet to add even one of his own ideal players, with the possible exception of Johnson (but he was recommended to Bobby Manc), to the squad.

Enough of manager swapping. Even signing Mourinho at this stage would be unfair on Mancini - also, have a look at Mourinho's Inter side throwing away Serie A right now with by far the strongest squad in that league.

Learn from the mistakes of history, look into the history of our club to see what a f*ck up this would be.

I'd like him to stay. If he stays that means no Morinhio which means if he doesn't get us 4th next season we'll get another manager and will have dropped a bollock in not getting Morinhio.

It's all about whether Mancini is worth the gamble for me. And i won't pretend to know if he is or not. I know Morinhio is though.
