My favourite Ipswich game when he was manager had to be the 81 FA Cup Semi Final at Villa Park against us.
Agree that Ipswich side was a good one he assembled there, they were going for the league and Cup double in 81 werent they, but got neither, did win the UEFA Cup though.
(That United match might have actually been 6:0 from memory...even better!).
Bobby Robson always did come across as a pretty likeable fella.
