Bobby's in the Agenda Camp

My only fear with this is Bobby will get the "Rafa" treatment on SKY now, his intention may be to protect his team for Sunday and beyond but I predict SKY will now run with City's "favourable" decisions on loop for the next couple of days emphasising how decisions do even themselves out and this will be backed up by endless twats interviewed to that effect. The fact remains even United fans are becoming embarrassed by some of the decisions they are getting. All we want is an even playing field, is that really too much to ask.

sometimes you have to keep it to yourself and mancini is only doing fergie job for him in coming out with this in the interveiw

they have the rag media writing what they like and with mancini english is open for a them to turn it on manchester city and they may have setup mancini just like liverpools raffa in this interveiw

i would like it if mancini just talked about the game on sunday you dont have to talk about last week game you can fire shots at the reporters and ask them to ask questions about the game on sunday only please

come the last game then yes let them have it but hold on mancini

anybody who says there is no corruption in english football is either

niave

a liar

stupid

or corrupt

simple as that...and a few people on here (same names all the time ) try to vehemently oppose even the possibility of any corruption !

most `agenda ` people (cos thats the name they have been given) are open to the fact it may or may not be corrupt (i know it is ) not rife but enough to make a difference in certain games ...i havent got brown envelope pictures being palmed before you ask...but lets say mike summerbee / paddy v and co are a little bit more clued up than those on here that say corruption is a figment of imaginations.

-- Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:32 pm --

Couldn't disagree more.

He's putting pressure on the refs in the same way that fergi has done for years.

Great work from Mancini.

that's how i see it
but the problem is the journos don't fawn over us like they do the scum and so will twist his words to suit whatever slant they want to put on it

What Mancini said about the refs in 100% bang on. Just forget the debateable penalty/red card decisions, look at the way challenges from our players compared to our opponants are viewed.

Kompany sent off for two footed challenge, next game Glen Johnson does them same and doesnt get sent off.

Balotelli challenges for a header against liverpool and catches a player in the chest, gets sent off. But against Stoke, Whitehead goes for a header leading with his arm and catches Silva and cuts his head.

Yaya Toure booked against Arsenal for cynical foul, two minutes later Alex Song does a very similar challenge which injured Toure and no booking.

Barry against Liverpool got sent off for two cynical fouls but Adam, Gerrard and Skrtel get away with persistant fouling. Also Barry's 2nd yellow was for blocking off an opponant but 2mins after that Adam does as identicle challenge and doesnt get booked.

Cliche against Chelsea gets sent off for two bookable offences but Raul Meirles should off also been sent off a dangerous high footed tackle and a late challenge on Silva.

There a loads of other times when our opponants get away with challenges and we dont, how many time have one of our players been booked for a first challenge which other players get away with 4 of the same challenges without being booked. It is these decisions which annoy me a lot more than the key decisions. We all know that refs can make a mistake and we deal with that but it is their inconsistancy with decisions that they can have no excuse for.

I do however think there is a great deal of bias from the Media and sky in the way they express challenges. For example we all agree that Balotelli should of been sent off against Arsenal for his challenge on Song but the media and sky have made out as if he has delibrately tried to end his career when in fact it was just a mistimed unfortunate incident. There wasnt too much difference in the Balo tackle on Song that there was in Scholes's knee high challenge on Zabaleta in the FA cup semi last year and although Scholes got sent off for it the perception of the foul was totally different. Scholes challenge was just met by "it was a typical Scholes challenge, definatly no malice" or "we all know Scholes cant tackle".

agree with most if not all of that

Mancini "We want to try to win the next game. That will be difficult. Wolves are bottom of the table and it will be a tough game. We need to play like against Norwich."

in other words
I'm worry that Mason will do his best to fuck us up against Wolves, he will try to make it difficult for us to win the game, in the same way as Foy tried to do last week against Norwich. We need to play-score 6 like against Norwich to avoid the ****, Mason.
