Bodo Away

Absolutely mental to me that there are over 50 people on that amount of points and are going to this game.

This is the first game in about 18 years where my points aren't even on the criteria, I thought my points put me at around 300 in the queue which I think is probably correct, but I thought this proof of travel would help me out - not so certain now.
The first window includes superbia members.
All the big hitters go to all the games which dispels the myth perpetrated on here that they pass them on.

I think Haaland back in Norway in the Arctic Circle will be a bit special. I wish I could go
I can understand why loads of Blues want to go including several mates. Everyone won’t get tickets but I hope all Blues have a fantastic time.

For me, I would rather go to another fixture that’s a bit cheaper and warmer!

Ps I have been in a smaller City following fior the Goat’s last game in British football

Superbia Members use to be able to request tickets for other ST holders which was the issue for Bournemouth away on August Bank Holiday. I'm not sure how many they get now, but they are allocated without going through the ticket site and should not get their extras from the points pot.

Superbia went to people on quite low points in the first place, they all don't go every game, just have the option to. It was being offered to the top 1,000 at one point, and sure it went wider. For this we are looking at the top 200 to have a sniff.

Superbia Members will be on higher points now as they still get the same number despite all others not get anything for aways, finals and friendlies.

I'm not looking for a row, but I would respectfully suggest that until the club becomes more transparent and publishes the exact number of supporters in each points category, then we have no idea whether 70-80 "big hitters" buying a ticket for Bodo, dispels any perpetuated myth, or on the contrary just proves that some of them took one look at CL draw last September and opted for a January trip to Norway over yet another trip to Madrid etc.

Otherwise the highest 3,000 would have been in the Bernabeu last fortnight and the tickets would have sold out at around 26,000 points

Meanwhile I've travelled to all the European games this season and am stupid enough to be currently considering paying £500 for a Bodo ticket from a dodgy internet ticket agency

That Arsenal away was CRAZY … we blitzed them off the pitch in the first half, I was so cold, uncontrollable shaking, I went back to my hotel for the second half.
That was during the ‘Beast from the East’. We played Arsenal in the Carabao final on the Sunday before meeting them again in that game at the Emirates.
The cold weather started overnight after the final - temperature dropped about 15 degrees over the course of the drive back to Manchester and had dropped even lower by the time the midweek game was played.

3 of us booked from NE ENGLAND guess we are watching in the pub

I booked flights & a hotel for this as soon as they dates were announced in August for me & my wife, going out Sunday coming back Wed Morning. She has no interest in the game so the plan was to go and look around for a few days as we like going random places, id go to the game and she'd stay at the hotel while the game was on (hotel is 15 mins walk from the stadium)

I knew the allocation would be low and it'd be touch & go but at the time had the thought of "where there a will there's a way" & i'll get one & was hoping Artic Circle in Jan wasn't everyone's cup of tea. In hind sight, I should have done more research on the allocation & should have known that a chance to go to a new random ground for those at the very top of the points table would be my undoing.

Saw the criteria the other day, have accepted the fate that i don't have a chance of one getting one, even a last min drop out so have cancelled my hotel (free cancellation) and flights. I'm down about £200 on my flights as Scandinavian airways apparently only give back a certain amount on cancellations. Its a long & expensive way to go to listen to the game outside the stadium if i can't get in and we'll look o re book around that area in the summer when its light pretty much all day rather than dark all day

Good luck to those that qualify, here's hoping we get them again at some point and the novelty wears off for some

Talking about transparency I have mentioned this before. Spurs have a table of points holders https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/tickets/buy-tickets/ticketing-points/

For context for Bournemouth away everyone with 439 or more loyalty points who applied by the deadline were successful and were given a non restricted view. Those with 437 and 438 loyalty points who applied by the deadline were issued either a non restricted or restricted view ticket. Wheelchair users were also allocated tickets. However they don't say how many tickets went on sale for points holders. Forest went down to 311 points, Newcastle with an 8.15pm on a Tuesday night in December went down to 165 points.

Id of thought that when city set the Bodo criteria they knew how many point holders could apply otherwise, no point in setting it. So, the logic would be that anyone with over 31k should get a tik as the criteria stops at 31k. Transparency is needed though

Normally it says "if any tickets remain we will provide further criteria", which it hasn't said so I would imagine they're pretty confident that it'll be gone before it gets below 30k

There’s a reason they’re on 33k!!!
