Bodo Away

Got to feel for the blues that went.

All that time, effort, and money to watch that gutless and pathetic display.

Especially for the fans who didn’t have tickets and couldn’t get tickets.

To think on Saturday before shit show no1 I was offered a ticket for Bodo! Spent the afternoon looking at flights and accommodation, came out about £800! After shit show no2 tonight, thank fuck I made the right decision and stayed home! So sorry for four of my pals who went over…that shower should give them all a refund for travel and costs incurred!

Putting to one side the horror show on the pitch, it has been a really good trip. Nice, frozen little city, hugely friendly people, good food and drink , although very expensive. The people here seem to have a huge pride in the football team and they were genuinely thrilled last night. Not in a snide, gloating way, just euphoric. We just had to say well played, best team won, and have a few £10 lagers to drown the sorrows. But overall an interesting and worthwhile trip.

Great trip, lovely people.

Team weren't great but don't think we should be expecting the players and manager to fund my holiday just because the performance wasn't what I had hoped for.

Have to agree - amazing place and people. So friendly and welcoming and almost embarrassed by their win.

Lovely group of Blues too who made the effort - and like all Scandinavian games, police were almost invisible - and I had the pleasure of being frisked by a lovely local lass - so not all bad…

Most of the Blues who went said they had a good time and don’t want any sympathy.

The refunded match ticket will be a welcome bonus for many of the old school, for whom seeing a hopeless City get beat is nothing new.
