Bodo/Glimt (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Feel sorry for the defenders and Donnarumma - they’re all working their socks off and having to deal with wave after wave of attack while our midfield and attack walk around the pitch throwing their arms about. Maybe Cherki, he worked hard tonight I thought.

Sulking their way through games, no energy in the tackles and no enthusiasm to do the dirty work. Only willing to run when it might result in a goal, other than that they’re lazy bastards.

Players like Foden, Lewis, Reijnders, Marmoush, Haaland - all spending more time on the verge of tears than they are actually working hard for their teammates. Fed up of watching it.

Not going to moan about any of the young lads when we had Dias Gvardiol Stones Nunes Nico Kovačić Savinho and Bobb out injured, Rodri only just getting himself right, and BSilva Guehi and Semenyo not able to play.

But there’s a couple of senior players there who should be leading this team at the moment, and tonight, taking responsibility for the performance of the team and should be making things happen and act like leaders of the team, who did next to nothing at all and haven’t done since before Christmas… and both need dropping!

The young lads actually showed a good attitude and played well when we were down to ten men. And they’re young lads who don’t need being dug out by our fanbase.

What an absolute feckin tool Guardiola is! He plays the Left Back at Right Back, the Right Back goes in Midfield, and the natural Midfielder ends up at Left Back. He then watches the 2 inverted full backs offer nothing going forward and even less defensively, as Rodri and the 2 young Centre Halves are overrun. Meanwhile the front are so isolated they actually forget they are playing for City and don't even attempt to defend.

He watches this for 45 minutes and it still doesn't click. We get to 68 minutes and are 3-1 down and he still stands clueless overseeing this shit before making a change. Even then, he doesn't put on Doku, who can occupy 2 defenders, but preferring to put a bloke whose spent more time on planes recently, than he has training, and just how can any manager when requiring goals, leave Rico Lewis on for 90 minutes? Everything about Guardiola is skullfucked and defies logic.

What we have witnessed today and last weekend is as bad, if not worse than anything we ever witnessed under Stuart Pearce.

Don't let Rodri's red card disguise this, what we are witnessing is the end, and there is nothing worse than a long lingering death. We could have been beaten by 6 goals in each of the last 2 games and he just doesn't get it.

In short, if Guardiola had anything about, him would fuck off tonight as his race has long since been run.

The only way is up after United right?.....RIGHT?
