At least I thought RAN replaced Lewis at RB when I was reading the team sheet from the back but what the fuck was I thinking
 
Not good at all. Defence a shambles but we're not even looking that dangerous going forward.

Need Nunes back in a hurry and if Guehi can settle quickly, it may solve some of our defensive woes.

Rodri looks way off it and was largely responsible for their 3rd (despite it being a great strike) and really we weren't any worse after his sending off. Let's hope Gonzalez is back pretty sharpish.

Out wide we had very little but with Doku and Semenyo (and possibly Savinho) back we at least have some threat from those positions and hopefully the return of Marmoush will put some pressure on Haaland to start performing.

Too many lightweights such as Reijnders, Lewis and Ait-Nouri starting doesn't help.

Very poor today obviously but when we can get a few players back, it should hopefully look a bit brighter.
 
Two young CBs and the strategy was have width just from the fullbacks, relying on Rodri & Lewis to track back. Not making any changes to change things until the game was done. Just inept.

Pep's absolutely fucked it and tbh I think that filters to the players - rarely looked comfortable in the set up. Not good enough again from Pep or the senior players. Rodri fucked up for their third and then was brainless - he wanted to get off the pitch.

Just like United at the weekend, they were better than us in every single department.

Got to give Bodo a lot of credit but it’s hard to understand just how bad we’ve been recently.
 
Defensively we are a total mess and Bodi should have scored 5 or 6. That Rodri sending off summed up what has been another shambolic performance.

The least that should happen is Pep apologising to the fans after that, and reimbursing the travelling fans.
 
Not much we can do at the moment except wait for all the injured players to come back and for the new signings to bed in. We hit much lower lows last season and wound up finishing 3rd and reaching the FA Cup final.

I think serious, serious questions need to be asked about Rodri, though. Other than the 45 minutes he had against Sunderland, he hasn't put in a good performance all season. Should we be giving him a new deal? Hmm.

Start again with Wolves on Saturday.

There’s zero fight, effort or pride in this squad.
Forget tactics, personnel, the lack of fight we actually show in games is appalling.
Maybe Khaldoon should ask the players if they want Pep as the manager.
If the answer is yes then they should be told in no uncertain terms to start fucking showing it!
I’ve watched some appalling City teams over the years but non come close to being as lazy as this current squad.
It’s looking like they’ve stopped playing for Pep, to me anyway.
I don’t wanna hear anything about injuries or tiredness.
These performances are as bad as it gets.
 
You have a footballing philosophy and when that gets broken by tactics coaching it’s time to think again! If we sat back defend we would have had a lot more clear cut chances yep we had chances but there snap shots because there are 6/8 defenders and a goalie trying to stop us!

Wolves we be better because we will have an experience defender in our side and Semyno!

Oh Doku got a knock so when our players have a knock they usually out long than a week!

Look at Gonzales pep said he had a tremendous kick in training and we have heard read nothing on how long he will be what the injury is or anything! It’s so weird how we never know about why a player is out!

But there’s a couple of senior players there who should be leading this team at the moment, and tonight, taking responsibility for the performance of the team and should be making things happen and act like leaders of the team, who did next to nothing at all and haven’t done since before Christmas… and both need dropping!

The young lads actually showed a good attitude and played well when we were down to ten men. And they’re young lads who don’t need being dug out by our fanbase.

Good post but you lost a bit of credibility when you added Bobb and Savinho in at the start
