Having Reijnders, Phil, Cherki and Rico all stood within a postage stamp of each other is utterly pointless.
Pep is taking the piss now. The 2 centre backs needed help. So, he plays a left back who has hardly had a sniff for us, at rb, for the 1st life in his life.

Every single person could see at half time that the set up and tactics were never going to work. Yet, he does nothing.

There is no excuse for the Rodri red card. Its as if he did it on purpose.

I remember the Stoke game in Peps 2nd season and the football was breathtaking. This football feels like its taking my last breath.
 
Can't even find it in myself to blame the defence, or the red card. Pedestrian, boring, predictable. We are impotent going forward.

No amount of Guehi or Semenyo is going to solve this. Something needs to change tactically, because half a season in and suddenly we are looking like the team last season again.

Let's be frank here, Phil has had about 3 good months in the last 2 years and before that, he wasn't a big player in the treble year. Gets away with it these days.
Credit to Bodo, just back from their winter break, first competitive match since November, thankfully they weren't up to speed otherwise that could have been worse.
I don't want to see that CB partnership again, thank you.
Those who thought NOR was MOTM need to rewatch that 1st half again.
Daft from Rodri, he's now out of the last match, which we now have to win.
Looking forward to seeing Leroy Sane run at our back 4...not
Haaland is getting worse at the moment.

Please don’t forget it we’re in this mess because he decided to piss away the Bayer Leverkusen game and play the weakest side.

We can win against Gala and it won’t matter because we’d be too low on the table anyway. Rodri is out too.

The football has left us.

Any world class manager like Flick, Alonso, Kompany, etc would DIE to have a team with a ballon dor winner, Haaland, Marmoush, Semenyo, Foden, Cherki, Reinjders, Guehi, Gvardiol, Donnarumma, Doku that is a title winning team.

Nobody can even tell me what is our plan in games anymore ?
 
A genuine disgrace that.

The tactics are simply horrendous. Pep sets us up to be outnumbered every single time we lose the ball in any area of the pitch. there's something very wrong fundamentally if that is happening consistently. It's not even amateurish. Rodri gets sent off because of this exact issue, foden giving the ball away in a rare moment of actually being noticed and we're outnumbered because we seem to have a philosophy of everybody piling forward ahead of the ball the second we get it. I wouldnt mind half as much if it resulted in us creating and scoring but it doesn’t even do that.

The players themselves have no fight in them either. If it wasnt for the fact our manager is Pep, you could easily say they play like they they're trying to get a manager sacked.

They are willing to run in a forward direction but absolutely nobody in that side shows the same level of commitment to getting back and helping out when we dont have it, their first response is to throw a little hissy fit before walking back, at best they put on a jog for show but nobody ever sprints back.

Honestly, that should have been about 6 for Bodo and it wouldn't have flattered them.

Would love to see that, but this current squad don’t have that run in them. The teams soft, not a single leader on that pitch tonight, and the players seen as the leaders were no where to be seen. Shameful really.
