It's depressing that Spurs are above us in the table. I've watched a few of the other games and all teams move the ball quickly.
That's been going on for 5 or 6 seasons tbh. Only previously we had KDB or Silva or Gundog to pick a killer forward pass. Now we have no-one who can reliably do it, so we labour away in front of a packed defence for 90 mins. Cherki maybe might offer some hope, Nunes even. But right now no-one is putting anyone through. Laughable that anyone ever thought it could be Phil's role.Second (?) goal against Everton I think. NO'R crosses first time and Haaland buries the header.
The rest of the time we slow things down so much that even the slowest team (other than us) has the time to get ten behind the ball.
It really is before it's too late.I agree it is down to the senior players to kick start the season.
So what did Pep do then...?Pep is not completely wrong with his statement, We started off a little more livelier than the derby but collapsed as soon as we conceded.
The guy's an idiot .... I know he's trying to,work his way back to full fitness, but he had no need to act the way he did tonight, and in other games we could have really paid for it ...... as it was in this game we never looked like getting the better of Bodo, at any stage of the game !Only fools and norses...
Rodri, you plonker!
You think we’ll score? ; )Could be another 10-1
It would be somewhat amusing if the players took it on themselves to change this by themselves during a matcha d see how Pep reacts.Yes! I don’t really get this high line strategy at all. All it does is condenses the midfield, causes it to be cluttered, too tight to play and we get crowded out, lose possession and there a massive space that we fail to defend every attack it seems. Then again I’m an old school foc.
That just to cheer us up?Watching Arsenal tonight, winning away at San Siro and looking comfortable in their own tactics and skin. Complete opposite to us nowadays compared to what we were.
And find team matesIt's depressing that Spurs are above us in the table. I've watched a few of the other games and all teams move the ball quickly.
Early exit wouldn’t be a bad thing in all honestyjust got a kick in the teeth from Sporting goal v PSG - pushes us near the trapdoor
Senior team leaders need to have a meeting to sort this out, without Pep being involved.
