Any heating engineers available to look at my boiler tomorrow? It’s got no power but the small control thing at the side has power? Was working yesterday.

They may be free to look at it but a 'dunno mate, I think it's your condensor' is 65 quid
Or a 'you've had it how long?' is 85 quid (they throw in the laugh for free)

Yeah, I have insurance which covers contents and buildings. But it’s not 24/7 home response. There’s normally no cover for wear and tear / breakdown though.

Got an issue with my boiler, it seems to randomly put the heating on. I’ve changed the batteries in the wireless thermostat and there are no preheat things programmed on it. We just have it set to timer but it seems to fire up at weird times, looking aback at the past week it’s done it in the middle of the night and other times during the day.
It’s almost like it’s set to be on all the time but boosting when it falls below 19 degrees, but we’ve never had it set to that. Any ideas anyone?

Loads of idea Blue, unfortunately none are about boilers.

Sorry I couldn't resist as I'm still laughing at what @mexico1970 put.

Funnily enough, mines a branny and it still decides when it wants to turn itself on and off. I've a feeling it's my dearly departed wife, who's not happy.
