It's always been a mystery to me how he achieved this sort of mythical status amongst City fans.
Nowhere near good enough for us now. He'll do a job elsewhere.

He was quite good, for his age ( 20 or 21 when he came to city). he did well in Italy when he was young. I still think he would of been great, but got really unlucky. The YouTube videos are of him when he was younger than 21. He banged in 16 goals for Lecce (in Serie A) when he was just a teenager ( he played there from when he was 16 to 18). So you see why people were expecting him to be really good.

I hope he does really well for Parma, he should get around 10-15 goals next season.

Good price we got for him. Was never going to make it after crocking himself two seasons in a row, and even last season he was mostly used as a substitute at Parma, so he's hardly been setting Serie A on fire either. Bunch of people saw him on Youtube and thought he was going to be banging in 30 a season, laughable, glad to get rid of him, to be honest.

Expecting Jo, Caicedo and a lot more to go soon too.
