Manchester City's Valeri Bojinov has confirmed that he will not be returning to Eastlands after an injury ravaged-spell with the English club.
Bojinov, who moved to Parma in the summer on a season-long loan, has made an impressive start to life in Serie A, including scoring a wonder goal against Bari last weekend.
And despite the Premier League attracting the world's best players, Bojinov insists Italy is the place for him.
"Even when I left for England I knew that I would want to come back here," Bojinov told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Italy has given me so much. My home is here, I studied here and I have so many friends over here. England is different.â€
Bojinov also revealed that a permanent move to Parma is not out of the question.
"The club know that I want to stay, I still have a year on my contract with City, a club who waited for me to recover from injury.
"But I needed a place which could allow me the possibility to do my job again. I wanted to come back to Italy."
