Bojinov says goodbye - with over a year left on his contract

There was a thread on here the other day looking forward to him coming back, I posted almost exactly what he's said and to me it was obvious. Can't blame him and to be honest he wasn't going to set the world alight over here, good luck to him.

gl Boj if he stays will be very good , but i don`t see Hughes playing him because he is not his transfer

A shame as he is a good player. But he is also an unlucky player. We've moved on to a different level during his injuries and he had no future with us, so best thing is to try and get a decent fee for him

Home is where the heart is i suppose.

He didn't score that many goals for us , but i'll always remember his strike in that COMS friendly against Milan ...... that was a world class finish.

absolutely fuck all to do with him not being good enough?

How can anybody say Bojinov is not good enough?

We have seen his class, his goals against Milan, Tottenham and in the Serie A. we will never get to see his full potential if what he has said is true.
You cannot argue that we have better or that he inconsistent either because he has been regurlay hit by injury and he has never gotten the chance , even when he was fit he wouldn't be used often, maybe a few miniutes at the end of match.

A dark day IMO.

wow - Some people love to overact. Lol at the retire and wear his City shirt around the house post.

Quick Fact - Players pay for their own treatment, they have to pay for everything from physio to tapo on a match day.

Yes we paid his wages during this period but due to the many, many clauses in contracts he wont of been opn anything like his basic wage in this period. Plus as City are a business, Bojinov like all the players will have his contract insured so City will of claimed on this and had his wages covered while he was injured.

Thats one high horse issue dealt with

Further, nobody hear knows what he has been told by the management. Apart from the fact he would probably be 5th/6th/7th choice striker, for all we know Hughes has told him we wont be needed anymore and to go and find a club. The loan is a way to make that happen.

I dont see anything wrong with his comment, players on loan all over the footbal world are asked about making moves permament and lots say they would like to.

I always thought he was a quality player who would of been effective for us. Good luck to him

Couldn't of put it any Better.

It wasn't to be with the Boj. Shame I'd have liked to see him fully fit and given a go but he's not on the last couple of seasons good enough now to be pushing for a place.

Good luck Boj.

Just to note on what he's said, after being in Bulgaria on hols a couple of times I think it's just the way they are. They tend to shoot from the hip and have 'temper' issues sometimes.

We, Bulgarians are not very social animals. We grow up in a country where every one is trying to fuck people over. Not our fault. Luckly for me i got out in time...
How did you like our ladies?

The ladies were fine, shame I'm a bit too old for them and had my wife with me. We stayed in St Konsatau (sp) and spend lots of time in Varna especially if massive park.

I'd recommend a trip there for any of the lads on here.

I always thought Boj was/ is a very good player and I was hoping to see him get a run and prove this.
I think he would definitely be a valuable squad player and we should keep him.

Time and circumstances have deprived us of seeing what he could have been at City. If he hadn't got injured under Sven he might have become a legend might have got a start under MH. Unfortunately with his injuries and where we want to be in short period of time we couldn't wait for him. I wish him all the best in Serie A maybe won't be too long before he is back at Eastlands playing in CL.
