when petrov is back MAYBE:

-------------------given-------------------
richards/zabaleta-dunne-kompany-bridge

------------------de jong-----------------
SWP------------------------------petrov
--------------ireland/robinho(rob=free role)-

-------------bellamy----bojinov----------

play robinho at home and ireland away

Where is Nedum?
Zabaleta plays better in Midfield?
Kompany plays much better alongside De Jong?
Giving Robinho a free role willleave the left side wide open as Bridge has stopped going forward as often?
Bojinov isn't ready yet he only has 15min of PL game time so far?

i didnt mean right now and also kompany is better in defence than onuoha and i wouldnt bring him into midfield and sacrafice anybody who ive put there, so its either that or just put de jong were kompany is and kompany were de jong is. robinho has more or less played in a free role since he joined the club anyway.

Nearly two seasons gone by and we still have no idea what he's going to be like. Very frustrating for everyone.

I think we'd get dicked on with that team personally... I think we'll see Robinho put into a central free role when we have the palyers to improve the balance of the side both atticking and defensively.

Bojinov has to earn his place first too, so for a while i'd guess something like this:

-------------------given-------------------
richards-dunne/Onuoha-kompany-bridge

------------------de jong-----------------
SWP-------------zabaleta---------robinho
------------------ireland-----------------

------------------bellamy-------------

However long term, with the players we have (i relaise we'll sign new ones in the summer):

-------------------given-------------------
richards/zabaleta-Onuoha-kompany-bridge

------------------de jong-----------------
SWP--------------ireland---------Petrov
------------------Robinho-----------------

-------------bellamy/bojinov----------

Ned is getting better by the week as a central defender and Vincent getting better every week as a midfielder. If there is no room in midfield for Vin then it may need to be Dunny who makes way.

Yes where is ned ??? hes well on his way to being our player of the month for march.

A few weeks back I was scraching my head about why Zab is playing in midfield but I'm beginning to see why. He's played really well, he's tenacious and allows the fabulous trio to do their magic.
