So I thought ffp was suppose to stop this happening?
It wouldn't have stopped the current administration proceedings happening.
That dates back to Dean Holdsworth taking out a loan to buy the club, secured against club assets, which was due to be paid at the start of this month.

That wasn't cringe worthy, it added to the atmosphere back in the day when hooligans gave a proper account of themselves. Nothing to do with success for me, they thought it hilarious when they took £400k we didn’t have off us for Hamman, a few they weren’t due but basically conned is out of it, plus Garsides comments and the way they enjoyed our demise means they can fuck right off.
That's true Malg. Some of our mob used to sing "we'll buy your club and burn it down". Utterly cringe worthy!

All this talk of them going into administration makes me laugh, all it’ll mean is they’ll be docked points, end up selling assets and getting relegated a few times, so fucking what? I can’t think of a single team who have vanished, they just end up in lower on non league football, they’ll find out how loyal their fan base is then won’t they?
Hope Wanderers survive. Played the first Wembley Cup Final, didn't they? And the old Burnden Park was a good ground, right by the middle of town as you got off the number 8 bus, when Bolton as a town still had some civic pride. Better than going to bloody Horwich where they are now.
