As i gave away my ticket as a goodwill gesture in the hope i'd be able to buy another, I am now without a ticket!

So, as a last resort I think I have no choice but to sit in the home end tomorrow, anybody doing the same?
Or who can save me with a spare ticket?

-- Sat Aug 20, 2011 9:30 pm --

bump.

anyone got a spare? i will be forever in your debt.

If you do don't wear any colours, cheer City or do anything to suggest you don't support Bolton loads of City got turfed out by the stewards last year.

I went with the prawn sarnie brigade 2 years ago and was continually warned about my "actions".

I wasn't ejected but then again, the home fans in my vicinity were hardly likely to kick off.

It all depends where you are mate.

I never see the point of going to an away game and then sitting in the home end. You can't cheer or visibly support your team so I would much prefer to watch it on tv in a city pub

My mate got kicked out at half time there last season for having a Manc accent when he asked for a pie - absolutely ridiculous!
I've even had a Bolton fan sat in-front of me at our place and it was all good-natured. Although it was during the 6-2 game, didn't quite mind him going mental for Ivan Campo's goal by that point 8-)

better to be there than not at all and besides the best fun is before the game
in the boozer with the lads having a beer.

Yeah I agree with that but if the games on tv you can do the pre and post match beers and watch the match in the pub. I like to support city but if you can't visibly show your support all you are basically doing is giving 40 quid to Bolton
