Where's the best place to park?

Beehive pub supposedly free parking there and also heard that at St Joseph's school nearby £4 to park there although parking at the ground itself is nightmare after the games.

-- Tue Aug 09, 2011 4:05 pm --

Hope they do manage to get some more. OS says our allocation is 4,600, but I would say the capacity is nearer 6,000. Here's hoping!

Beehive has limited parking. The school. As you approach the Beehive turn left towards Horwich and it is about 100 meters on your left. Takes about 45 minutes to get to the motorway after the game

Talk about a soulless bowl was the burnden as wank as the reebok??
I find the area is not what you want from an away trip; no pubs or owt. But The Reebok has more character than St. Mary's, Pride Park, Walker's Stadium, Rico Arena, Riverside etc etc.

I know the town is full of Gawbies who think they're Peter Kays best mate and all support United and City, but still, the ground is better than many other new stadiums!
