Bolton fraudsters - Dumb and dumber

Does the bloke who’s card was nicked get the £4m?

I don't think it does. Think Camelot will just null and void the transaction and the money either goes to charitable causes or they reissue the jackpot winning card (assuming they have a single one per batch of X number of cards distributed).

Might not have any choice on whether they do it, think they have been reprimanded over paying out winnings to fraudsters before, it is unlikely they have wriggle room to pay out to defrauded debit card holders if there are winnings above X amount.

They hired a top lawyer trying to get the money the cheeky pair of maggots
The thought of trash like this getting millions does my nut in

Went begging in London from Bolton?? Did they not want to spend the day begging in Manchester as usual?
Costs £60+ for a ticket from Bolton and they spend £90 at a Londis!! They must have emptied that shop….and then win the lottery!!!
Until VAR stopped their celebrations……

Because you can not tell the difference between a genuine hardship case and professional scammer. Unless you want to run a survey before handing money over?

There are numerous charities and support available from the LA and housing options but it's a process.
No one can expect to rack up at the local Town Hall and say give me a house and they say here you go then and handover the keys.

The chances of these 2 buying the winning ticket too! I suggest they have been spending a fortune on lottery tickets using money obtained fraudulently.

It just emphasises how people like these 2 undo a lot of good work and good will from the general public. Stories like this are depressing actually.

Your take from this is “fuck the homeless”, really?

They’re not all robbing scumbags, you know.
No he said beggars.

Most people who are homeless are accommodated, have recourse to public funds such as benefits and don't beg.

Begging is illegal and supports organised crime.

Utter tosh. That’s an absolute **** of an attitude to have.

There’s some fraudsters out there but there’s also a lot of people rough sleeping through no fault of their own in desperate need.

On full benefits with loads of support services. Even when all rough sleepers were (supposed to be) accommodated under COVID, there were refusals and abandoners in the first few weeks and it is mainly down to bad life choices.

In Leeds I had one bragging about making £120 an hour, but refused accommodation as there was a curfew which affected his drug scoring and ability during the night and to getting a prime spot at the Train Station for the first commuters arriving.

Those who want assistance know where it is, especially in GM.

Someone wrote it long before you.
“Are there no prisons, are there no workhouses?”
