Bolton (sold to Football Ventures)

Always had a soft spot for BW after they beat the rags in 1958 Cup Final, when "the whole nation" supported Utd after Munich - or so the media told us, which is when it all began.

No soft spot for them myself, but is it right they have a buyer now? Thought I just heard that on radio

One of my mates is bolton season ticket holder so pleased for him, i couldn’t give a fuck about them but fans can’t just go & support another club i guess, eh rags??

No time for the former chairman who mocked us as a "smaller club than them" but have no issues with their fans, unlike those at Stockport.
Phil Gartside a rag if ever I saw one took great pleasure in our struggles appeared to be some financial genius when he was relying on being bailed out by Eddie Davis, he was also implicated in some dodge transfer dealing Passed away a few years ago Got to agree about the fans no real problem with them can’t say the same about Stockport fans

I know we'd all like united to be in trouble because of new rules but not at the expense of other club's risks growing day by day.

If the problem is debt (and I'd imagine it is) then can't they come out with rules that fix this over time and just make an exception for united and the like who shudder at the thought of proper financial controls? .....Just to get it started.

Too naive?
