I don't usually argue for this sort of thing but the reverse angle of Davies foul on Agüero is the most conclusive proof I have seen that a player is intentionally attempting to hurt another and City should challenge the foul. If you watch his first step toward the back of Agüero's leg seems natural. However, then, five feet from the ball at this point, he brings his boot back up and rakes it down the back of the leg a second time. There is not explanation for the second stab at all as the ball was well away.

Should have been sent off and banned.
