If this does happen hopefully he starts to find his feet & form around November - just looked at West Ham's fixtures & they have a run of Spurs, United, Arsenal then Liverpool, if he can bang a few in for those matches then maybe City fans will start to like him again.

Our players are mostly on higher wages so more difficult to sell on.

we pay too much. Nasri and Yaya on 100k+ a week is hardly tempting for clubs. Bony has been terrible for 1,5 years + on probably decent wages, again not very tempting deal.

Why though? Do we not meet some established club transfer criteria I'm not aware of? It's f-cking ridiculous. Roma probably spent more on plane tickets negotiating Dzeko's transfer than paying for him. At some point the club will have to stop being such a mark.
