Bony (Season long loan at Stoke - Official)

Hence why I said if I was being pedantic.

We are Shirley covered now. But in my February musings of how I wanted our summer to go.

I was adamant about a few things.

1. Buy young players on the verge of stardomand not players at their peak or in decline. 23 and younger. 75℅ of our incoming had to be 23 or younger.

2. I thought we needed 2 wing forwards. We got 5. Mind blowing. Four of those 5 under 23. I believe my original 2 names from February were 2 of the following 4. Soufiane Boufal, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, and Ansensio. These were just general names I thought would be good fits. What did City do? They fuking went out and bought 2 of them. Then got Nolito and some phenom kid from Ukraine for good measure. I'm here thinking, are these guys fucking kidding me? My head is about to explode here!

3. I wanted 2 ball playing CBs. Been bigging up Laporte and Stones all winter. Pushing back at the falae narrative about Stones. What does City do. They fucking put in bids for both players and had Laporte not chickened out l, they both would be balling out here now. Mind blowing what Txiki has been doing to me all summer.

4. Gundogan. Everyone wanted this, and City delivered it with impunity.

5. Did not want an out and out striker. So far Txiki and Pep are in agreement

6. My only disagreement all summer has been the retention of Kolarov. And if rumors are right, we simply didn't have a buyer, so I can't blame Txiki for that. And missing out on Pogba. But I see the reasoning on Pogba. So really Kolarov is my only downer.

This for me has been an epic summer. Epic!
We still haven't sold Bony, Mangala or Nasri yet never mind Kolarov... come on China put some crazy bids in please.

Thats a very good contribution Dax,well done.

how has the fee fallen from 26.5m to 15m in a few hours .. :/

In all fairness if we can shift Nasri, Bony, Navas, Mangala, Willy and Denayer for around £80 million combined would put us at around £75 million net spend before Ter Stegan presumably coming in.

Arsenal are set to make a shock £30m bid for City striker Wilfried Bony. [Star]

A FUCKING BIDDING WAR!

All hail Txiki!
