Bony (Season long loan at Stoke - Official)

So, the great Wilfred Bony conundrum. As I understand the club would like him to either go abroad or to a club which isn't a rival, for instance Everton. Arsenal would be the last resort for his destination, a lot wouldn't see them as a rival but remember what happened when they sold RVP to United.
Never understood this. If a player is deemed not good enough, why does it matter where they go? What it suggests is that the powers that be know there is a major difference between a 'shit player' and a player that doesn't fit the team system (unlike a few on here).

Don't worry we have found a replacement and matches wilf in ever department including pace and skill so we can get a deal done.

His names Kone

Sad thing is, you probably believe it

No I have a season ticket so have watched him play many times and I don't think he's done well at city. He's been a disaster in fact

Your right he hasn't done well at City, but he is a good player nevertheless. However, the stupidity your coming out with just highlights your maturity. This is further amplified by telling us all you have a season ticket which is fucking irrelevant.

Now you're just being a big fucking baby. My point about the season ticket is saying that in my seat I can see him when the cameras aren't on him and he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Always wants everything straight to his feet and when he doesn't get the ball where he wants it he's throwing his arms around in frustration. When he does get the pass he inevitably fucks it up by shooting well wide or over that bar, or most notably just trips over his own feet ending up flat on his face or on his arse in the dirt.
I wouldn't mind about the lack of fitness if the guy could just score some fucking goals ( which is what we bought him for) I could even take that disinterested, clueless fucking look on his face if he actually looked like he could come on and change a game every once in a while. He might have been OK for Swansea but that was Swansea and nearly two years ago. If we get offered more that 10m then I will be ecstatic.

10 goals in 46 appearance.

He made 46 appearances so he's had his chances.

How many of those were ten minutes ?

And did it seem to you like we had any plan of actually getting anything out of Bony as a player ? Any big change to the way we played, if he came on, or if he replaced Aguero in the team ?

Pep has a particular way of playing & it's pretty clear Bony doesn't suit that, but why the fuck did Pellegrini bring in Bony, then use him as if he was Aguero ?

I guarantee that whoever signs Bony, will try to play to his strengths, of which there are many, rather than expect him to be Luis Suarez.

Bony has never had problems with his attitude. We knew exactly what we were buying when we signed him and had we done some more research and planning we would've realised he wouldn't fit into our system. He's definitely a proven goalscorer. At Swansea defenders were terrified of him. He tore teams apart. I hate seeing people say Bony is shit because that simply isn't true.
Correct. He has been ineffective for us. But that's not the same thing. It looks like Guardiola has gone for Aguero and Kelechi as his main strikers so it's best he moves on, but if he finds a Premiership club I think he'd get over 15 goals a season, maybe more.

I never wanted bony, Couldn't understand why pellers bought him. Then again I never understood half of what pellegrini did. Maybe he will do alright in a team where he's the main man but he's never going to do well in a team where all players are top standard. We play a passing game and involve everyone in the play but at Swansea he would always want the ball so he would have more chances. Sergio is a rare breed. Excellent on the ball, sublime passer, can thread the ball through the eye of a needle at any given moment and he's a sharer. There are very few in the game like him, maybe Suarez but he can be very greedy unlike Sergio. And doesn't have sergios temperament
