Yeh I know that I'm not saying the overall atmosphere wasn't good(#McPointyman) but maybe it was nerves and not being able to take your eyes of the game but I noticed a lot of chants petered out after one verse or two... look:



I just wonder how loud it could be if everyone gave it the same welly and kept it going.

On another note I can't help but wonder when BT seemingly sabotaged our coverage maybe it's because of the booing of UEFA and the fact they are probably worried they are going to pull their exclusive rights because they haven't met viewer targets. They paid close to £900m to UEFA though if anything BT should be getting their asses kissed for that kind of money? Mad world we live in.

It was a nervy beginning. I think many knew what was at stake so naturally focus a bit more on the game.
I think tonight will be different. It's the first leg, we've hit a bit of form, results have gone well in the league elsewhere and big players are returning from injury. There's a lot to be optimistic about at the moment after a rough couple of months. I expect it to show tonight in the support...after booing uefa..

I thought you was doing the "He's a rag" nonsense that goes on around here, don't worry a lot of people stuck up for you already, might have seemed a stronger reaction than I intended(does seem some members get away with it more than others though where it comes to profanity).

Personally it's old news for me, we hate UEFA they know we do as well, I just don't want us to be painted as a miserable moany set of fans or SJW's/Crybullies(hence my nod to the Dippers)... probably overthinking it I'm sure everyone will embrace tonight's occasion and enjoy it to the maximum.
