So as to not de-rail either the footy bets thread or the Festival thread, I have been looking online about the free bet offers for new customers, Boyle Sports are offering a double free bet, ie, stake £20 get £40 free bets, the best others I can see are all offering a matched bet free, with 365 up to £200, Paddy £100 and the others from £8 to £50.
Anyone seen another site other than Boyle's offering a double initial stake free bet?

Not that bothered about new member enticements personally but a few offers people may or may not be interested in for the festival.

Stan James: All races, no runner no bet.

Paddy Power/ Corals/ Victor Chandler and many others: All ante post markets, no runner, no bet.

Boyles: Money back on all races if beaten 2nd upto half a length.

Paddy Power: All losing singles upto £100 refunded on the CH if Hurricane Fly wins.

That last one is particularly interesting for a horse currently trading at about 2/1.

One of the best Cheltenham offers I've ever seen.

Corals are going EVS Sprinter Sacre for the QMCC.

£20 MAX, but a great price - It's 1/4 elsewhere.

what I was asking about the other night was the special on if Ronaldo scores against ManUre all losing bets would be refunded - I think this was offered by PaddyPower.

was thinking that if you could take the other end of that bet (especially with a promo from another bookie or using BetFair) on Ronaldo not scoring, whether you could set up some betting spreads with a net positive return no matter what the outcome?

Yes you can, Google arb'ing.

What was the limit on which PP capped this offer at
Sometimes its just not worth pissing about with for pennies,if you wanted to do as you said.

If you did though bluesmith has put you on the right lines
And the poster route 66 is into this,he may give you some good tips

The only advice I'd give an amateur arb hunter is make sure both or all prices are still available before you put any bets on. Might sound obvious but I've seen people come seriously unstuck thinking they've found an arb and only realising it's been closed once they've got huge liabilities.

Anyone who's interested in arbing should check out the Market Reports>Steamers page on Oddschecker. It gives an indication of what horses are attracting early money and what firms are out of line.

You can almost guarantee that whatever Pricewise (Tom Segal) in the Racing Post tips will shorten in price. If you have a RP subscription, he puts his selections up on Friday at 8pm. Something I've only just learnt is that Ladbrokes lay his selection at the original advised price between 8.15am - 8.30am. Hills do the same thing between 8.20 - 8.45

Last week one of his tips (Quentin Collonges) was backed down from 16/1 to 10/1 overnight. Laddies laid it for £25 max at 16's in that morning time slot. It won at an SP of 15/2.

Talking of pricewise i remember this beauty from about a dozen years ago
33/1 pricewise tipped it up at
And to tip it in the grand national made it all the sweeter,as every man and their dog was on

The queues in the mornng in the bookies were horrendous, every bet papillon
Iirc they guaranteed the price for about 30- 45 mins in the moring

33/1-25/1-16/1-14/1-12/1-10/1..........and in went,what a gamble

I was in the new Kippax watching that at HT. I remember the preview race on BBC2 the night before and it was being tipped up.

Desperately checking every bookies page on Teletext to find someone who hadn't cut it. Think I got on with the now defunct scouse telebet firm that was part of the Littlewoods group. Doing my head in remembering their name. It's company colours were Yellow & Black.

EDIT: BetDirect.

SkyBet give you a completely free £10 bet no deposit required when you sign up. Can put it on anything.

For anyone who fancies an arb.

Pricewise's tips for tomorrow:

Edmund Kean
2.05 Sandown
1pt win at 11-2 with Hills (5-1 generally)

Le Reve
2.05 Sandown
1pt win at 20-1 with bet365 (16-1 generally)

Strictly Silver
2.55 Wolverhampton
1pt win at 7-1 with Betfred( 6-1 with bet365, Power)

Pine Creek
3.15 Sandown
1pt win at 14-1 with Boylesports (12-1 generally)

Don't forget. Laddies and Hills lay the original odds from 8.15 onwards.

Good luck.

Nice little offer from Victor Chandler on the first race of the Festival.

----------------

If you don't win money on The Supreme Novices' Hurdle, BetVictor will refund your losses on the race up to £50, as a free bet.

Corals are doing £10 refund on the 1st race of every festival day.

So effectively £60 on MTOY, (or other runner if you want to oppose it) with no risk.

Both only going 6/4 comapred to an easy to get 7/4 elsewhere though.

Still very tempting though.

Both do guaranteed odds. I'd be amazed if MTOY didn't SP at bigger than 6/4.
