Never done this before, due to fly out to Turkey on Friday and still no sign of any tickets

Is this normal?

You normally get them 4 weeks before departure unless you book last minute of course. Give you're agent a call.

Presumably you got an email confirming all the details? Read it again, they might not be planning to give you tickets - you might just need to print out the email and show them that.

recieved confirmation at the time and was advised the tickets would be sent by email 7 days before we fly, got on the phone yesterday and was told we would see them soon and not to worry.

still a bit nervous until i have them in my hands though.

I wouldn't worry mate, theres been no post for 3 days. Sure they will turn up tomorrow. If they don't then I am sure they can courier you some or sort it at the airport.

did you book it yourself online?
If so you wont get a ticket. Just take your booking confirm e-mail or reference number to the check-in desk.

You won't even need a ticket anyway. Your passport should do, as all your details will be on their computers.

Can't remember the last time I had a ticket. Just take your email booking ref with you mate.

You might have to print out your boarding passes individually A4 size and show them at check-in. If your carrier is ryanair and you don't do this, they will charge you for "check-in at airport". Your hotel voucher may also have to be printed out. Read your e-mails very carefully because some companies are hoping you make mistakes so they can fleece you.

Have you booked a package holiday or separate flights? and who with? every airline i have used over the past few years have given me an instant confirmation e-mail at the time of booking and that was it, no follow up tickets, although when i booked a package tickets for the holiday did come through the post. Definitely know if you book flights directly with Thomas Cook, Monarch and Thomson that the e-mail confirmation is all you get and all you need.
