Mkhitaryan just turned down an extension and is in the last year of his deal.......not sure Dortmund would sell him and Gundogan but if so, he'd be a good option if we couldnt get our hands on anyone from Bayern!;)

Dahoud sounds most likely of all the possibilities mentioned so far.
Mkhitaryan couldn't play next to Gundogan, certainly not in a 2 - hence why Weigl and Castro played next to Gundogan for Dortmund.
Thiago-Gundogan wouldn't be a solid midfield 2
Could be one of the Schalke youngsters, Geis maybe?

True, but i have a feeling we won't be completely overhauling the midfield in this window especially as there will be precious little pre-season to get a large number bedded inBut Delph, Yaya and Fernando will all be out the door most likely and we need actual strength in depth, not the average players we have now.

I would say this is the most likely him or isco! Think I might go late in the window for another mid though as we are gonna go all out for pogba!

I don't see fernando leaving either! Pep says he loves midfielders so I expect diniho, nando, delph, gundogan, nasri, and silva plus at least 1 maybe 2 more to be our midfield options plus 1 or both or 1 of the garcias!
