Still plenty of time. I just worry that we seem to have slipped into signing good rather than great players. Since Sergio I think KDB is the only player we have signed that seriously improved our first eleven - yet we have blown millions.

I hope he will be - I just want to see us step up like we did when we bought Yaya and Silva - players that really improved us. Since then players like Garcia and Fernando have taken us backwards compared to De Jong. We must keep moving forward.

TBF, the step-up to Yaya/Silva wasn't too hard considering the level of the squad before them.
