I prefer his Ali G persona much more, where he simply plays a buffoon rather than mocking a people/country

It's the fact that he used that buffoon persona to get others to let their guard down and expose their own ignorance.

Not seen this yet, might give it a go later but I don't have high hopes.

I thought Ali G was well done too. Have to say I found the film pretty funny. plenty of good actors put their name to it too
