We are boring because we play thoughtful, considered football. Hoofing a long ball into the box and hoping for the best is entertainment if you are very simple.

Boring Boring City !
Dont think City are boring but bloody hell that was one boring match yesterday.
Was it Citys fault it was boring ?
Was it spurs fault it was boring ?
Well City spent most of the game in the spurs half, trying to break down a packed defence.
Spurs spent most of the game in their own half playing a 10-0-0 or an 8-1-1 formation.
It takes two teams to make for a good game of football.
So perhaps Citys games can be boring but City arent boring the opponents are boring.
When City were shit I would have loved us to have played like spurs yesterday and nicked a win, to avoid relegation.
It's odd how some of the lower league teams give us a better game to watch to the cups. They could sit back like spurs and hope for penalties but they dont they come at us.

maybe the rules should change and you can only have 4 defenders at one time and if there is 5 or more behind the ball then offside would be no a option
A mate of mine insists City are boring & ruining football. My cousin sent me a Twitter link from Gary Linekar's Tweet about our style of play, with hundreds of fans saying we're so predictable, but no one aside from the Dippers can stop us.
We play in our style, we score & we defend well. One fan even said there's no frisson where we're concerned which makes it dull for the neutral. My point to my mate & cousin was where were their boring complaints with Liverpool of the 70s/80s & ManUre of the 90s/2000s? :-|
Some of these comments are comedy gold, but I love imagining the taste of their salty tears. It gives me a warm glow inside. :-)
