Their communications team were well out of order when they said it was ‘routine’ and he was continuing to work - it simply was never going to be true. No one goes into hospital and takes up resources during a pandemic for a fucking check-up. This might sound grim but how many come out of IC once they are in?

Hope he comes through the other side of this, on the positive side you can guarantee he will be getting the absolute best possible care and hopefully it is just a precaution.
