Used to work for a big IT consultancy who were very picky about who they employed. I spent a couple of months doing recruitment and when we interviewed someone, the first interview was called the "hotel test". Basically, you asked yourself whether you'd want to spend 3 months in a hotel with the person if you were working on a project together.

Regardless of politics, Livingstone would have been a big fat NO and Johnson a resounding YES.
