Boro Post Match thread

You guys. Hard to think how the reaction could be more negative if we'd lost. Thought we battled back quite well and might have nicked it at the end. This attitude that we have a divine right to win every game and it's a disgrace and a disaster if we don't is more like another club which I've spent all my life despising for exactly that reason.

Played in a Semi on Sunday,a derby on Thursday, against a team scrapping for their lives today.....with a team hit by injury and a lack of depth.....and we get an away point that may be critical at the end of the season.

Pep out....lol.
Most people have been screaming out for Kun and Jesus up top, most people having been saying Sane he needs a rest, so pep picks a team which most people have wanted and it didn't work. He changed it virtually after half time and it brought us back in the game. We have now set a record for away points in a season. He is obviously doing something right. We now have 3 home games with an hopefully fit Silva, Stones and a rested Yaya. Plus Jesus having a few more sessions under his belt.

different era?...take a look at the "quality" of the pitches back in those days, far more energy sapping than the carpets they play on today...factor in poorer medical support (ask Paul Lake), far tougher tackling/kicking week and things are not so different...todays's players are pampered prima donnas in comparison...

Factor in that they spent 30% of the ball in play time passing it back to the keeper.

Stop moaning we will finish top 4 and Pep will sought everything out in the summer,we now have 3 home games on the bounce and we have only lost 1 league game from our last 13 league games, chill out ffs.

Will 3 draws be enough though

Personally, I don't believe there is an agenda . . .

I hate it when we churn out that sort of game, I've been slated for verbal diarrhoea, but surely this is a good place to do it?
I was really expecting to see a better performance today. Ok, boro are all but relegated but we made them look like a top half team. The lack of penetration and directness has disappeared from our game, we just seem content to keep possession and build again, hate to say it, but we really missed Magic Dave & possibly Yaya today, I wonder who the management have in their sights during the summer. We shouldn't be struggling with the quality that's available in our club.
Boro certainly were never going to make it easy for us & we nearly gifted them 3 points.
