Agreed. Alvarez might come good but he looks very green at the moment and after letting Jesus and Sterling go, we really needed somebody who could contribute straightaway.

Add in Mahrez being shit, and we look desperately short up top. We’ll have to buy somebody in January.

We are not going buy anyone in january, not our styles particulary there's no need when there's no major injury for our forward at the moment.

Dull game. But not City’s fault. We had done the hard part earlier on in the group. This season with the stupid World Cup is going to be an absolute grind so Pep wisely rotated.

On the pitch defence looks good. New keeper looks solid.

Concern is our creative players. We can’t just rely on KDB, Bernardo and Haaland.

We need Foden and Grealish to really step up. As for Mahrez he’s contributed to our success but surely alternatives like Palmer can now be used.

Their 2 games against us they have just set up to frustrate us and hopefully snatch one on the counter. I am a bit surprised.

We could have done more but it is what it is, we have topped the group.

One thing to note was the Stones/Rodri second half tie up they shut it down quite nicely and the ball flowed forward a lot better, maybe a Phillips (if fit) and Rodders might seen a bit more.
