Gone are the days of losing/ drawing early games and going into the final match hoping we can get 2nd place. Pep sees the big picture

Thought they were shit tbh. Defensive and played on the break at home without pressing hoping to score from a defensive mistake and transition using 2 rapid kids to run in behind. Created 1 good chance all night. Fucking poor if you ask me. We just did what we had to do. If they score, KDB comes on and we up the tempo by 2 gears. Instead we just coasted and played keep ball. Tedious to watch but meh, top of the group.

They are about as average as I’ve seen from that club for two decades.

Can see why they’re fifth in their league so far, wouldn’t have them down as getting anywhere near winning their title or going any further in the CL after the next round.
 
We're not at our best, but the run of games we've had, and will continue to have, isn't the easiest to judge us by.

Still, a professional enough performance to top the CL group (comfortably), a couple of points off the league leaders with some breathing room between third, and our top gears still left to hit in the new year.

Lots of reasons to be cautiously optimistic without getting carried away.
 
Both teams happy with a draw , a non event of a football match if we needed to win we could have stepped up a couple of gears , an early goal in the game from either team would have made it a better match.
Now they are both fit would like to see Stones/Dias back as partnership, on their day the best we have , difficult picking a man of the match , no doubt BT picked Bellingham because he was able to put his boots on the correct feet because he did f*ck all else.
The bullshit around Bellingham is getting f*cking nauseating , he plays in an average German team in a one team league , talk about overrated , hope we bid £100m for him then ther Rags will pay £150m and realise he is Sancho Mk2 , f*cking shite.
