2-2 with us leading, they scoring late to equalise on the night but we go through convincingly (I hope)

I watched half of the 2nd half of Stuttgart v Dortmund. Cracking end to end match which Dortmund won 3-2. Haaland did very little. Bellingham and Hummels went off. Hummels went off at half time before I started watching so I don't know if he was injured or not. I noticed they have a lot of young players. Knaupf (sp?) scored a good goal. They play without fear.

They will probably score against us because they are a confident side who do create a lot of chances but I fancy City to score against them too. I think Jesus, De Bruyne, Mahrez and Foden should do well.

I wonder how they are going to play this. Are they going to go for it totally from the Kick off or try and sneak a goal as they did at the Etihad? Either way we should win.

Good question, do they go out straight from the off for the first goal. Other option is they let City switch into our natural game of possession and then stealing a goal through transitions. Going to an interesting 90 minutes as the quality from both sides on Tuesday was very good, at the same time hearts in mouth stuff.

Watchin from behind the Sofa on Wednesday for me a la Dr Who in the 60s!

Our biggest risk is a cagey slow pace game and losing 1:0 and going out on away goals.

Also brings greater risk of just x1 refereeing decision becoming deciding factor in game.

As soon as we score, we cannot be beaten on away goals, if we score x2 its in our favour

from then on, if a draw on aggregate. Hopefully, we can be clinical on any first half chance

to score, to remove mentally "1:0" option. If having started with his "best eleven" and we still

need a goal in last x20 mins, I would get torres on in the centre. Think he's more likely to get

a goal from a crowded penalty area than mahrez/sterling/jesus/bernardo. Hopefully, Kevin &

Phil start and provide the impetus and drive and quick incisive passing that was sorely missed

yesterday.

Yep, really lively, energetic, young side. That is something that usually causes us problems due to our lack of pace. Need to be right on it on wednesday
