Borussia Dortmund (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

Best performance off the season for the first 65 minutes and then a huge drop off for the next 25 minutes. Need to avoid those long bad spells in the games and nice things could happen this season.
 
Let's hope we keep this level up when we play the dippers, who we just know will suddently become prime Barca. Beat them and I think it's a two horse race for the title.

Early days, but who would bet against a City/Arse CL final?
 
It was a brilliant 60 minutes and everyone looked good, Pep taking far too long to make subs almost brought them back in it, I really don't understand why Marmoush is only getting 5 minutes, he should've been brought on at the hour mark for Doku who was gassed and kept giving the ball away.

Overall it was an excellent performance for much of the game.
 
Pep would definitely want more control, I'm sure, but Dortmund were never totally on top at any point.

Loved that. So many positives.

I’m one of savinho’s biggest critics but he was mega today, should have scored and was unlucky not to. Nico O’Reilly had Adeyemi on toast until the game stretched, was so good. Nico Gonzalez was absolutely unreal again.

Only negative I’ll have was Doku switching off at the end and giving up, giving their right back license to forward as much. He does that against Liverpool and we’ll be in trouble.

Good game though, buzzing.

Liverpool is a good team anyway with some very good players, it will be a very tough game.
 
Played well overall. 4 great goals. Apart from the first 5 mins and 10 mins towards the end, when they scored, we were in total control.
 
Some of that forward play was so good. Quick 1 touch passing. Foden was immense, ball just sticks to him and when he is in that mood he looks unstoppable. Cherki is gonna be a hell of a player
