Set up and play like we do each week in the league and we have a real chance. As long as pep does not start messing with the formation we can win this fucking thing. Come on City.

The rotation options we have right now are truly incredible. Irrespective of whether it’s the starting 11 you wanted or not, you have to admire the way we can switch it up every game and still know we are going to perform. With many fringe players from last season becoming incredibly important this season, the overall feeling of depth in the squad has sky rocketed.

Apologies if someone has already mentioned this but Nedum is a pundit on 5 Live tonight.

Here’s a sample:

‘Pep Guardiola knows what he wants from each position on the field - that's not necessarily related to the player. He wants his six to do this, he wants his nine to do this and he wants his two to do that. So the people that go out onto the field need to represent that vision but there is a difference between having a vision and being able to coach it into the players. He makes players better - what he wants from them he is able to teach them and they buy into it.

So as a consequence it doesn't really matter who is playing in the team, you still know what you're going to get. That's credit to Pep and the coaching staff because that takes a lot of time. Players have bought into Pep's philosophy, they understand it and they're thriving under the system.‘

I hate getting reminded of that Lyon game fuck sake. What a disaster, never knew a football game would bug me that much
We fucked up let’s see if we have learned our lesson this time around. Going by what pep has said pre game and our new found approach in the league I would say the Lyon result may help in the long run.

Reminds me of when he was Bayern coach and it didn’t matter who the personnel were they all fitted in to the system and were interchangeable.
