Hotel Rathaus booked in Dusseldorf, on early flight from Stansted so will try to check in early or just leave bags there and have a mooch around the old town (and bars), getting over to MGB early to mid afternoon.
Taxi from airport to Weeze station €5 or so. Train to Krefeld and change Krefeld for Monchengladbach. Trains are every 30 minutes ( 45 and 15 past the hour ) to Krefeld. Train to monchengladbach departs 6 or 7 minutes after train gets into Krefeld. IHas anyone sussed out the best way to get from Düsseldorf (Weeze) airport to Monchangladbach (beside train station)?
Been searching but can't see the best method for booking the travel
Any help appreciated
Don't think so pal, in a group of four though, sounds like there will be a fair few blues flying from there, I always need someone to follow at the other end!Me and 4 others on the early flight from Stansted and also staying at the Rat-House.... you're not one of the 4 others are you!?!?
we just bought tickets at train 'station' ( it is tiny and was unmanned ) from a machine but someone said you can buy the tickets on the shuttle bus from airport to station
