Borussia Mönchengladbach travel thread

I've checked here
https://www.vrsinfo.de/tickets/ticketberater.html (klick on the Union Jack for the English version)

You Need RegioTickets for Zone 5
Single Train or S-Bahn-Ticket is 11,30€ one way, if you are a group of 5 you could get a day-ticket for 34,90€ (valid for up to 5 people), which you coul also use to travel around in Cologne or Düsseldorf (VRS- RegioTicket Zone 5). Same for you return journey next day.

On the day of the game are the majority drinking in Mönchengladbach or Dussledorf centre?
Dussledorf seems to have a vast array of bars, watering holes, Mönchengladbach not so many.

Arriving in Dussledorf around 2pm.

Yea we get to dusseldorf at about 1. Will check in and have a quick shower, maybe a bite to eat nearby then make our way to monchengladbach I expect, where I'm assuming it will mostly be a cans job? Not sure if there is a particular meet up for this one?

Cheers mate

Apparently there is a square in monchengladbach called Alter Markt (and not much else by the sound of it!) So I guess that is where to drink before the game.
