Borussia Monchengladbach (a) Post Match Thread

113 goals in 276 games as a winger, in your fantasy land where nobody misses he would be on what?

So what would his tally need to be to end your pathetic whinging?

300 goals, does that sound as silly as your complaints?

It should.

This fan base celebrates Goater, on your rational he should have had 300 goal for this club, the number of chances Ali and Eyal B laid on for him was unbelievable, different times but the same scenario.

They all make fuck ups, even Aguero despite all his goals, maybe he should have plundered 400 by now and overtaken Shearer, his shot accuracy is 41% the exact same as Sterling's, funny that.

Just prem stats

Aguero has had 1000 shots, 412 on target for 180 goals, that is a lot of missed chances right there.

Sterlings are 590 shots, 243 on target for 95 goals, 1 penalty compared to 26 for Aguero which helps the latter a little.

But I guess these will come under that stat business that you don't like at all, I wonder why eh?
Ha i think you need a chill pill mate.

It's not pathetic whinging its just an observation & Pep actually said after last nights game that the finishing has to improve which will no doubt have been aimed at Sterling & Jesus.
Don't get me wrong the squad are playing amazing football atm but they can still improve especially Sterling.
Don't be surprised if Sterling gets a rest for a few games.

Is VAR still checking our win, in the history section the result is yet to be included ;)

do you work for sky ? who have you heard off to understand he is our main target .

i personally dont think we will be in for him, its not because i don't rate him, or im short sighted , just not sure pep wants him , i gave my reason s why in another thread, but i reckon sergios replacement is already in the squad , just my opinion though, so dont be getting shirty with me :)

I respect your opinion.

Best get the kleenex ready in anticipation then.

Likewise, if Raheem had squared the ball to Jesus before he was tackled by the fullback (twice I think) then we might have still won 3 or 4 nil. Yes it was a bad miss by Jesus in the 1 on 1 but he atoned for it with his goal.
Yes, that's fair.

One thing that is for certain with Jesus is he's a grafter and he works hard. I think he had a solid game. I just don't think he's quite clinical enough compared to the Mbappes, Haalands, Lewandoskis etc of this world (but only very few players reach that level). You feel that each of those players would score a similar chance 9 out of 10 times. Whereas Jesus converts that chance more like 2 or 3 times out of 10.

Add Aguero to that list - still the best goals per minutes on the pitch ratio in Prem history.
