Borussia Monchengladbach away - where to stay?

Did the gladbach away game sell out last season and if so at what points ? Flights booked and got just under 11000 points on the cup scheme so hoping we will be ok . If not it will be a couple of days in dusseldorf.
 
Few decent bars and eating places round the Altstadt in Gladbach, which is a walk up the hill from the Train Station. Ibis at Dusseldorf hauptbahnhopf, is usually adequate and handy for the train funnily enough. A länder ticket will get upto 5 people travel throughout the whole of North Rhine Westphalia for €42 if purchased from ticket machines and is valid until 0300 hrs the following day.

Gladbach and Kiev were the two games I missed last season. There were three in my Supporters Club who wished to go and we got two tickets so I volunteered to take the hit.

My mate Ray went and he said Gladbach was quiet but OK. I think it's the sort of place that's OK if you have a drink or two in the hotel bar and then head out to a couple of bars. Others will no more but I understand there's much more action in Dussledorf.

There are a few bars in gladbach walk out the station turn to your left up quite a steep shopping street to the top you will come to the village square with a couple of bars and restaurants
 
Staying in Gladbach would be like coming over here and staying in Stockport instead of Manchester or going to Scotland and staying in Motherwell instead of Edinburgh. Only my opinion but dusseldorf is far better choice
