Micah was a great player for a while, but tactically astute he wasn't. And I seem to remember Clichy also not knowing what to do in a back 3. We'll never know if Mancini just didn't teach it well enough or if we didn't have the personnel to pull it off in those days. I'd guess the latter.Don't know if its just me, but I just don't like 3 at the back, I think it stems from when Mancini did it, and we looked utterly clueless.
