Not certain how many people have seen this before but years ago I remember seeing a programme called Bostocks Cup. One scene in particular was based on John Bond's arrival. Judge for yourself but I can't help thinking we'd have been better of having Roy Barraclough as chairman and maybe Tim Healy as manager.

Bostocks:

and here's John Bond (after about 3 mins 46 seconds) the new boss:

Practically that whole City Doc' is embarrassing, I can remember one bit where Swales says over & over 'I'll tell you who'd have done well for us', I found myself shouting well STFU & tell us...

just watched Bostocks cup, fantastic!!!!
the assistant manager was Phil Neal when he was assistant to Graham Taylor for England and they did a similar fly on the wall documentary
and how prophetic was its portrayal of the youth team manager as a paedo?
