What I cant get over is if we had won last night and drawn against West Ham then we would have been in a position to buy genuinely class players Torres, Villa, Schweinsteiger, Maicon, these players will ONLY come if we can offer the trophies and CL. The future is obviously better than it has ever been but it pisses me off that we are another year away atleast from being able to buy the players that will let us really start winning things. I dont want more nearly players I want winners who would bleed for city same as any proper fan would for free. I dont want a player to sign for us for money we will end up with more scum like Adebayor, I want hungry players who come because they want to be regarded as playing for a great team that WINS big games and trophies. Consider we go head to head now with Spurs for a player (just say Gerrard) theres no contest where he will go. Its not wrong or short sighted to demand success, its necessary to become great.

I think you are looking down the telescope the wrong way and have a too narrow a focus. Don't get me wrong the jury is still out for me on Adebayor, but your overall assessment does a dis-service to the players, staff and the club.

Rome was not built in a day and for one would much rather have a steady rise, that is sustainable rather than a flash in teh pan that burns out quickly. Winning big games takes time to develop, just like anything else, and you can point to lots of examples where teams close to City got turned over but learned from that and adapt their approach accordingly.

I was equally gutted as everyone else trudging out of the theatre of shite after the second leg of the semi of the cc, but looking back now, I for one dont think that we are far away.

Wholesale change of anything now will be conter productive in my view, its an evolution from now, we have already had the revolution.

There is an argument that says that the very players that you hold up (DeJong) need replacing, as he offers no creativity at all, when I think in the premer league midfield players should be able to attack as well as defend.

Now is the time for calm reflection and not all out attack on any players or staff at the club.

i agree with your post maxflicity.

the highs have been high but the lows have been, indeed, low.

the one game i didnt fancy, was chelsea away.but i have to put that down as the best away win ive ever witnessed.

i must be mad to be disappointed at only a point at arsenal.
tevez has left some lasting memories along with bellamy, adam johnson and the rest of the team.
talking points are infinite from team selection, tactics to refs and more.
we are on the verge of success and nobody can stop us only delay the inevitable.
