Not sure if it's the same thing but I've seen a number above the Sky Sports logo at the top right of the screen when watching on Sky a few times.
been doing my head in thought it was something i had done. i am with virgin but my son in law (rag) who is with sky doesn't get it i taped the match today does it still appear on a recording ?not noticed but normally half cut

I subscribe to Virgin and can confirm that those numbers appear at times during all live football matches.
The number is always the same on my telly though.

yes ive noticed it a few times, but as ive got sky sports with virgin it carnt be anything to do with feeds to internet

Therefore if you decide to distribute your broadcast, they'll catch you because you're the only one with that number.

i would complain and say it spoils your viewing, afterall, it has detracted from the viewing experience for you to notice it.
