Bottom of the table battle

Hope Birmingham go down, could they be the first team to ever win the league cup and get relegated in the same season?

Norwich did it in 1985. Not sure if that's the only occasion, but they definitely did it so it wouldn't be a record if Brum do it this year.

Remember the good old days when we'd be scrambling around in mid-March looking at our remaining games and trying to work out what we'd need to get from each game to reach the 40 point mark. Ah, those were the days!

*wipes tear from eye*
if we manage a win today we should be celebrating
mathematical impossibility to get relegated!
no matter how many times i fill in the bbc predictor it looks as though we are already safe regardless of today's game

I think Blackburn are in big trouble and imo deserve to go down. The way they sacked Allardyce and replaced him with a yes man was wrong and I hope they suffer the consequences.

Please, please, pleeeaaasse Wigan get fucking relegated. Shit club, shit hypocritical chairman, shit fans.

I would like Birmingham, Blackburn and Villa to go down.

However I think that it'll be Wigan, Blackpool and Brum.

I do hope the N/W clubs stay up though - Wigan and Blackpool have got bugger all in the way of funds, have got in to the top flight with just hard work and good management seeing them through.

tbf wigan had a lot of input from whelan to get up through the leagues

Wigan play some really nice football at times so from that point of view being a football coach id be a little dissapointed if they go down. i think that itl be.

West brom
Wigan
Blackpool

but im not saying definate im saying in my opinion thats the most likely theres just so many

Villa would be piss funny. I seem to remember when we were spending some dicks were using Villa as the way to run a club.
I hate Wigan and hope they drop like a stone back to where they came from.
I don't care who else goes however I like McCarthy so I'd prefer Wolves to stay up.
Newcastle deserve to do down for the way they treated Houghton.

I'm not particularly arsed about Wigan or their chairman but I do like Martinez and I like what he's tried to do there with a bad pitch and average players. If they stay up I'd be happy for him.
