Bottom tier

I have notice in the past people mention about getting the safe standing in the stadium. However i do not understand why the whole of the bottom tier stand anyway, and hopefully improve the atmosphere at the ground.

Most of the South Stand and Singing Section/Block 110 stand anyway, it's just not "legal", the stewards (occasionally) ask you to sit down because it's not part of the regulations of the stadium.

i sat in the south stand and block 110/111 and not once has a steward told us to sit down, even when they walk past and you on the aisle seat.

i think we muct be able to stand but we have to be infront of an empty seat, i have seen the stewards asking people who are stood on the steps to stand infront of their seat a few times.

They only stsnd up in block 109 110 and 111 and 116 and 117 and 118 and maybe 119. Not everywhere on the bottomn tier!

no-one's asked for all seater stadiums, just because someone's put a seat there, we don't have to sit in it, i have not sat down since a boring game against wimbledon in 1995-6 , the year we went down, we won 1-0 with a late niall quinn goal, from 96 to 2003 at maine rd and ever since at eastlands i have stood up !

they have to keep steps clear so thats why we ask people to drop in the seats just so people who want to go can do lol, plus its the only way us stewards can see the game aswell when every one stands we cart see that is the real reason, lol :-)
