Bouncers & Rights

Crazy innit? Good for pickpockets though.
Same. At concerts you'll be seeing a great performance but look around and there is smartphones in the air and they are watching it through that instead of watching the actual band they paid for! Don't get it at all!

I'd leave it. The police and the bouncers looking after each other all the time, and normally cctv footage is not enough for them to be prosecuted. Talking from experience, they're a bunch of twats who are on massive power trip.

This. I've had arguments with Police and Bouncers and it's not worth it.

ooooh I fucking get it, it's just not right.

When will the human race wake up and realise no fucker cares what you're posting on your facebook or instagram... everyone is just on one big ego trip, only doing things to please their followers.

As for the alleged crime, I can see both sides and some doormen just can't handle the stress at times of dealing with public.
The doorman doing this should not have an SIA license and for future reference everyone:

Obtain the ****'s SIA license number (on his ID badge)
Report the incident/footage/pictures to the SIA.
Report the incident to the police directly (and also let the police officer on arrival know that you intend to report it above him/her)
if he gave your phone to a police officer, also obtain the officers number (on his shoulder)

if you haven't done any of this, do you still have the footage?
maybe this can identify everyone involved.

But yea, too many monkey's with SIA badges.
I've done SIA training and was quite surprised at how fucking easy it was to pass the course.
The self-defence, negotiation skills side of the course was so basic - a child could pass it.

I'm a bouncer and I can confirm that 95% of the people I have worked with are intelligent and nice people with other jobs as well. So the comment about us not being able to get a "proper job" is nonsense.

My advice is to not report this to the police, like many have alluded to you have absolutely no chance of winning this case with no CCTV footage. Find out his SIA number and report it to them, they will look into it and come to the conclusion there isn't enough action to suspend him. However if he's done something like this before (which is a massive possibility) then they may look differently at it. If he hasn't then he probably will in the future.

Hey, thought I should let you know I didn't pursue this.

Thinking back at the incident in pretty sure the twat who blindsided me wasn't a bouncer just the owner of the bar, so doubt he has a SIA licence. There was a bouncer, his involvement was to just restrain my mate while this guy blindsided me.

He hasnt "nicked" it per se. The definition of theft is "having the intention to permanently deprieve the owner of goods" or something to that effect. He just acted like a massive bellend and as the vast majority of bouncers do, in my experience.

What bar was it? (Just wondering if it's one in town)

Hurley sticks with nails in them would be best, as the GMP would then be looking for a group of Irish lads (make sure to do it after a rag home game)

Nails? Just use the old ones with the steel band around the top, they do more damage, trust me.
